It’s your seventh Easter, son,
One on which to rejoice and have fun,
To be glad we are all as one.
But think, too, what else it means,
That egg does more than hold jelly beans—
It is rebirth, a renaissance of the nativity scene.
To think of others when setting goals
Strive to reach, like the first standing foal
And always love, and believe,
have faith in your soul.
From Easter to Christmas and round again
It will always see you through.
